Sound healing while floating on water combines relaxation and therapeutic effects, enhancing the overall experience. The buoyancy promotes deep relaxation and stress reduction, while the calming environment fosters mindfulness and creativity. This synergy can also alleviate pain, improve circulation, improve sleep and increase self-awareness, making it a holistic approach to wellness.

We provide everything you need for the indoor session from the floats to eye pillows, blankets, pillows and bottled water for after the session. If you would like to bring your own you are more than welcome. Outdoor sessions you are required to provide your own blankets and pillows, this way you can make sure you are warm enough if it’s a chilly day. Some people bring crystals and talismans to meditate with, all we ask is they’re kept secure during the session so we don’t have to fish them out of the pool at the end.

We ask everyone to arrive 15 minutes before we are due to start so we have time to get everyone comfortably on their floats. We then do a 60 minutes or 90 minute sound healing session, duration depends on venue, which includes live music being played from our healing instruments. Both sessions include a guided meditation to begin with to get into a calm and meditative state and then we play an array of sound healing instruments including the crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, hand-pan and various percussion instruments. Each session is different as we allow our creativity to flow and play from our intuition.

Embarking on the float is different for each venue, some we go from poolside so it’s a case of getting low and placing your bum on the float, some you can step into the water up to ankle depth and sit onto the float. Getting off is just the opposite to getting on. We have assistants at poolside and in the pool to direct you and help you get on and off. The floats are very sturdy and held in place so they don’t move as you’re embarking/disembarking. We advise cool, loose fitting clothing for the indoor sessions although some people do prefer to come in swimwear. All the indoor venues are quite warm so please bare this in mind should you get hot easily. Blankets are provided for each indoor session should you require one. For the Outdoor events we suggest wrapping up as it can get chilly, we are in the UK and the weather can be unpredictable, please base what you are wearing on your own preferences.

Not at all, our air beds are super safe and sturdy so the likelihood of falling in is very slim, to date it’s yet to happen. Most of our partner pools are 1.5m at their deepest so most people can stand up in them should the worst happen and we have multiple members of staff on hand just in case.

Sound baths are both safe and deeply relaxing during pregnancy, we advise from the second trimester and would encourage checking with your healthcare provider just in case.

If you have epilepsy, severe hearing sensitivity, a pacemaker, replacement joints e.g. hip or knee or any other medical condition that might be affected by sound or water immersion, please consult your doctor beforehand.

Yes, for our floating events we have an age limit of 16+ as we have found younger teens/children don’t settle and it can disrupt the other participants. We have family events available throughout the year for those interested in bringing children to a sound bath experience.

If the weather is bad - heavy rain, high winds or thunder & lightning - the event will be postponed to another date, we will endeavour to get everyone booked on at the outdoor pool however it may be that we have to use the indoor pool at a later date. In the case of light rain and a bit of a breeze the event will go ahead, given the right choice of clothing e.g. rain coat & heavy blankets a slight shower is manageable and all part of the experience, rain and wind are both very cleansing and we welcome the elements into our healing sessions.
